Love, Rosie - movie review

Hi again, 😊
I'm hoping to post a post on the disability/illness in my life either this week or next week, so look out for that.
But tonight I actually went out into the world tonight, haha, to my local cinema (with mother dearest, we're almost joined at the hip didn't you know!)to see the new romantic comedy, starring Lily Collins and Sam Claflin. It's also based on the book 'Where Rainbows End' by Cecilia Ahern.
So me being the movie fan that I am, anyone who knows me knows that I love movies a lot. So why not while its fresh in what some can only call my mind and memory, lol, why not write a review on it?
So here is my review of Love, Rosie :
Love Rosie is about 2 best friends, Rosie and Alex, who have been best friends since they were young. We follow Rosie and Alex throughout their lives, although it seems from the opening scene it was through a flashback as if all that has happened led to where the characters are now, if you've seen the movie you'll know what I mean.
The last 15 minutes or so are what happens after the opening scene, it's soo hard not to give away what happens!, and the ending is so sweet and cute.
The film asks the question, can a boy and a girl be friends without either of them developing feelings  for the other.

Now I know the answer for me to that question, it is possible, my best friend is a boy, Kevin, and we've known each other for round about 7 years. We know where we stand with each other, we're best friends, to be honest he's my only friend lol.
But I guess it just depends on the people and the situation I guess.

I really enjoyed this movie, I loved the humour of it. It had a british humour feel to it. I found it slightly ironic they got a British actress to play an American, British people live in America too. But it didn't hinder it. I loved the chemistry between Lily Collins and Sam Claflin, I thought it was very believable and and sweet! I also loved the secondary characters, like Rosie's dad and Jamie winstone as ruby.
So all in all a very cute, light romantic comedy drama, if that's a even a genre, it's great for a night with the girls or for maybe a date. I'd happily go to see it again 😄 the trailer link is underneath if you haven't seen it or just want to rewatch the trailer!

My Turning Page

So if people are reading this, my names Sophie and I'm 16.
I'm currently at my Nans 70th, so what better way to spend your time than writing your 1st blog post.
That sounded terrible, like I have nothing better to do than write this! Lol, I'm hoping these posts get better as I write these.
little known fact about me, I'm visually impaired! I know right, never would've guessed it!
Its part to do with the fact I had a brain tumor, medullablastoma when I was a baby. I also have hydrocephalus. But I might do a separate post on my illness/disability and all that jazz.

So, what do I do with my life- Not much! As the title states my life is very much in the slow lane. Nobody knows really why I'm so tired and really slow. like really tired and really slow, its embarrassing. The fact nobody knows why irritates me, because basically it stops me doing a lot and I spend my time asleep. Sounds like ideal heaven right? not for me.

enough of the depressing side of what I do in life.
I love reading, like my book shelf is turning into an actual library and I'm currently drowning, figuratively in the amount of books I have to read. library books, my aunts books, my own books.
I also love to sing, not dancing because frankly I look like I'm being tassered, but I would love to be in a band and be like paramore or echosmith or tonight alive. That would be the dream not just because I love to sing but because I don't want to let my disability hold me back and make a difference to what I do with my life.

I also love music and bands! I mean *Peter Dickson voice* ONE DIRECTION!! lol
I also love different bands than one direction as well, that's not what you wanna read about, all the bands I like(I'm sure I'll mention them more then enough anyway! I also love going to concerts- I've seen glee live, one direction twice (if they bring their on the road tour it will be 3 times-lol) 5sos 3 times and Paramore twice. trust me if you don't know who paramore are you are missing out- best band EVER!

So ultimately that's my life haha
Hope you enjoyed reading, I think my mum wants me to participate in life a bit so bye for now
