Birthday celebrations

Hi, sorry for the slight delay in posting but  I just haven't found the energy in me to start writing. But that stops here! I think that's what I find most difficult, how to begin writing but once I've begun writing it's normally okay.

So on Saturday, my best friend Kevin and my grandparents and also my niece Daisy came round my house for mine and my brothers birthdays. Yes my brothers' birthday are two days after mine. Such great presents I had that year! Haha
Kevin actually turned up at mine at around 11am, Because it takes about 2 buses and 2 trains to get to mine.
Then when everyone arrived at around 12:30, we had a Chinese. Quick tip: don't arrange to have a Chinese takeaway at lunchtime as hardly anywhere is open! Thankfully we had a shortlist of places that started they were open. We went to our second choice as the first one was closed. And then we had the birthday cake, I don't think I ever want to have another birthday cake, 3 in less than a week is enough for me! We had a chocolate cake which was really nice, we had a another cake on my birthday and a chocolate pudding for my brothers' birthday.
It was a lovely day Saturday and I was shattered afterwards! I must admit though, I don't feel any older and I always thought when I was younger that at 17, I would be taller. Sadly not, but as long as I don't shrink. Stuck at 5'4, even my brothers are taller than me. Not even by just a little bit, by a huge difference! Oh well!

Also this week I'm now travelling to Birmingham in April. As some of you may know I have tickets to see Echosmith at Dingwalls in London. Well long story short, they changed the venue to somewhere that I can't access. So now my only choice was to go to Birmingham as it is the most accessible. It was kind of annoying I must admit as I had arranged access at Dingwalls and It was out of the blue the announcement. So I cancelled my birthday meal so I can go to Birmingham. Like I said to my mum I would rather go experience something I'm going to remember than on a nice meal that will just be memorable at the time. If that makes sense?

I've never been to Birmingham before but my mum and I have booked a nice hotel, like really nice. The malmassion, it looks really nice and it was reasonably prices for 1 night I thought.
Also for my birthday I'm going to see fall out boy!! I can't wait as it's not until October ! Also In my card were my All Time Low tickets!  I also bought myself some of the new lush products, sadly I didn't take a picture this time of what I bought but I got the prince charming shower gel, the unicorn horn and 2 bath bombs 'Space girl' and 'Twilight'.

Now speaking of concerts and accessibility,  there is a new company called Why Not People. Its been set up by Radio 1 DJ Jamela Jamil, Its a members only club and members get to buy tickets for them and friends who want to come with. Heres the cool thing, Membership is only for disabled people! So it will be concerts for disabled people and their friends. Because as an avid concert goer, I have had an occasion where one member of the actual bands team has questioned why I had two people with me (he was also just very rude in general to the disabled area especially questioning why we couldn't be put somewhere else), even though one had a career ticket. I was well within my right, as I had checked with the venue about having two people.
For most people concerts (and also movie premieres) are very sociable things and you can go and be with lots of your friends and family. But its a very solitary thing if you are disabled, because they don't allow you to stay with anyone other than your career. So I think its a good idea and to be honest, it makes you realise just how un-accesible concerts can be. If you would like more information about Why Not People, or you would like to apply for membership which is now open. Here is the link-http://www.whynotpeople.com/
