Its's crazy to think I am now an adult, its a huge milestone I suppose for anyone but especially for my family and I considering all the problems in my life and that no one expected me to live past one never mind reaching 18! So this was probably a more poignant birthday than most.
Since my twin brothers' birthday is 2 days after mine, we usually double up on celebrations, and since my brother George and I go to two home school groups, we invited some of the people to go to bowling and a meal at frankie and bennys. Which when everyone is home schooled, you don't have to do it at the weekend or after school!
Now don't ask why I wanted to go bowling, I'm crap at it. Its ridiculous the amount of times I have been bowling, but never won. So we split into 2 teams, mine and George's team. My brother Tom didn't come, he has aspergers, amongst other issues, so his anxiety got the best of him.
As you can probably tell George's team won. Although I felt I didn't do too bad, no injuries! Which in my opinion is a win! So then we went in the arcade for a bit as we finished bowling early. Then we headed to Frankie and Bennys for lunch. It was really nice, I felt really happy. It's weird I have never had a group of friends who I just get on with and don't care whether I can see or if I'm not the classiest when eating food. LOL! It was amazing to be surronded by everyone, Kev, Ellie, my nan and grandad. I felt content.
People were also so generous, I mean they bought Tom cards and presents even though they had never met him before, only heard through my mum, George and I.
Oh also my mum spent ages on my cake, so shoutout to my mummy for the amazing cake and for putting up with my critiques.
Now as I said earlier, our birthday celebrations went on all weekend. My brother Luke, his girlfriend Sam and Bob and Lola came for our birthdays. Which was really nice and as we don't get to see them all that much as they live up north. Then we had family over the weekend. I was amazed at the generosity of people. I mean I know it was my 18th but still. I joked to my mum and George, it'll be a come down next year! LOL
Also on a side note, I am so close to getting my Macbook!!! I should have it by the start of March which I am litterally bouncing off my seat with anticipation for it!
So that was my birthday weekend.
I know this post was kind of short but I do have some blog posts lined up so be prepared!
Thanks for reading,
Until next time

My nan and grandad bought this for me, but now my mum and I don't know whether or not to eat it. Is it meant to be eaten or kept? |
